Patrick works closely with fine food company Harvey & Brockless on newsletters and brochures. He is also the editorial consultant on the company’s in-house magazine, Meet the Makers, and was the author of its Guide to Artisan Cheese.

Academy of Cheese

The Academy of Cheese delivers professional qualifications for people who love. It approached Patrick to write copy for its delegates’ packs, including guidelines on how to taste cheese professionally and profiles of 25 key cheeses. Patrick has since contributed to the Level 2 course material and is now the Academy’s ‘cheese librarian’, in charge of profiling and categorising more than 100 different cheeses.

Peter’s Yard

Patrick devised and developed a cheese matching wheel for Peter’s Yard Sourdough Crispbreads with recommendations on which cheeses to eat with which crispbreads and the best accompaniments, plus tips on creating the perfect cheeseboard. The wheel was included with packs and has been used as the basis for tasting events for the press and public.
