CHEESE TRAINING & CONSULTANCY

Patrick works with cheesemakers, wholesalers, retailers and restaurants on a range of different training and consultancy projects, from bespoke Academy of Cheese staff training and tasting workshops to NPD support and cheese inspiration days.

Academy of Cheese STAFF TRAINING

The Academy of Cheese is an industry recognised cheese qualification, which covers modules including professional tasting, how cheese is made and matured, perfect pairings and 25 key cheeses.

Patrick can train your staff in Level 1 (Associate) and/or Level 2 (Member) at your place of business or at a training venue of your choice. Online courses are also available. His courses are fun and interactive with lots of tasting, group work and discussion. Course materials, such as tasting sheets, flavour wheels and an online text book, are included.

TRADE TASTINGS, MASTERCLASSES, TEAM BUILDING

Patrick has hosted events for some of the biggest names in cheese and wine from press tastings and masterclasses at food festivals to chairing industry conferences and organising team building and high-end cheese and wine evenings with clients.

TASTING WORKSHOPS

Not all cheeses are creamy and nutty. Patrick regularly runs professional tasting sessions, helping companies develop full tasting notes, matching suggestions and recipe ideas for cheeses. He can do this independently or with your team, either on Zoom or in person.

COPY WRITING & MARKETING SUPPORT

Words are power. Patrick helps companies refresh their brand message with sparkling copy for websites, social media and brochures. He also offers advice for retailers and suppliers on cross selling, merchandising, market trends, new product development and marketing. This can take many different forms from site visits to online consultations.

InSPIRATION DAYS

Research and inspiration days are a great way to immerse sales and marketing teams in cheese trends and ideas. Patrick offers bespoke research trips for clients to restaurants, retailers and food markets in London to better understand opportunities to sell more cheese (eg, recipe ideas, merchandising, cross selling, new product development, etc).
